The Material Coordinator will support the manufacturing and engineering team by managing materials in a distribution warehouse environment. This role involves operating forklifts, managing inventory, and ensuring safe operating procedures are followed.
Responsibilities
- Experience in forklift operation, computer systems, and distribution warehouse activities.
- Complete knowledge of warehousing, shipping, and inventory control policies.
- Inspect containers for damage or unsafe alterations and report any findings to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Operate lift-clamp equipment while following established safe work practices.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Must have a valid state driver’s license.
- Must be able to operate a Forklift and Clamp.
- Must be able to load, unload, pick, pull, stack, label, and perform any daily functions that are needed.
- Must be able to work with the Inventory team.
- Must be able to speak and read English.
