As a Master Planner in Pune, you will ensure seamless production planning and timely customer order fulfillment by collaborating with Order Handling, Purchasing, and Manufacturing teams. This role involves capacity planning, monitoring daily performance, and optimizing resource utilization to meet customer delivery commitments.

Responsibilities

  • Create production plans for manufacturing activities to execute customer orders.
  • Perform short-term and long-term capacity planning for man, material, and machines.
  • Set and follow up on targets, including a firm 6-day manufacturing plan.
  • Monitor the 3-day plan and daily performance, rescheduling as needed with proper justification.
  • Process and execute manufacturing orders, monitoring daily performance and value addition.
  • Ensure effective utilization of resources, maintaining takt, flexibility, JIT, and optimum utilization.
  • Take initiative for LSS GB projects.
  • Responsible for cell planning and performance, driving teams towards objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding material availability, component delays, and changes in customer orders.
  • Analyze forecasted sales volumes and their impact on workshop workload, raw materials, and components.
  • Monitor and communicate current workload and capacity situations using MOVEX and D365.
  • Prepare, secure, and review the next 3-day plan daily.
  • Secure a frozen production schedule for at least the next 6 days.
  • Complete PA of machines one week before Ex-work delivery.
  • Support MOVEX/D365 updating.
  • Monitor to schedule and close M.O.s on time.
  • Maintain constant awareness of future shortages (minimum N5W).
  • Respect and follow ALPS standards.
  • Train and coach subordinates on system usage (MOVEX/D365).
  • Create a cordial relationship within the organization.
  • Complete at least 2 Green Belt projects per year.

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Production with 5-7 years of experience in PPC.
  • Experience in Resource planning.
  • Proficiency in IT tools.
  • Soft skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Product knowledge and understanding of AL Processes.
  • Knowledge of ISO System.
  • Understanding of Pricing.
  • 3 to 5 Years of experience in the same field.
  • Good English both oral and written.
  • Good coordination and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Experience of working with ERP systems.
  • Ability to take initiative for problem-solving and improvement activities.
  • Ability to make immediate value-based decisions.
  • Work according to priorities: safety, quality, cost.

Desired Qualifications

  • Synchronizes the flow of material along the entire supply chain at S & OP and Master Planning levels.
  • Optimizes the utilization of production and supply capacities, inventory levels, and seasonal stock.
  • Balances supply and demand.
