The Maintenance Leader ensures the company's continuous operation by planning and organizing preventive maintenance and repairs. This role is responsible for improving the safe work environment and production line equipment's availability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Monitor equipment performance and reliability KPIs (OEE, MTBF, MTTR) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions (RCA).
  • Reduce unplanned downtime through systematic maintenance planning and execution.
  • Drive TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) activities and autonomous maintenance initiatives.
  • Prepare and manage the annual maintenance budget.
  • Control maintenance costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Maintain equipment asset registers and maintenance records.
  • Support lifecycle management and replacement planning for production assets.
  • Support environmental sustainability initiatives, including energy reduction and waste management programs.
  • Ensure compliance with lockout/tagout, machine guarding, electrical safety, and contractor safety requirements.
  • Ensure that maintenance and installation activities are carried out so that the company is safe and well functioning.
  • Supervise and take responsibility for the buildings and facilities of the company meeting high standards.
  • Responsibility for the maintenance workshop area, ensuring all safety regulations are followed.
  • Motivate, lead and train subordinates and ensure company rules are followed.
  • Supervision of maintenance related administration for parts, tools, equipment and systems.

Requirements

  • University or College Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • At least two years in a leadership position.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of machinery safety requirements and applicable regulations.
  • Intermediate to advanced English language skills.
  • Native Hungarian language skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong commitment to modern production philosophies.
  • Strong leadership and people development skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to drive positive change.
  • Capable of working under pressure.
  • Ability to manage priorities efficiently.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Adaptable, responsible, flexible, open-minded, innovative.
  • Strong sense of urgency.
  • Hands-on experience or willingness to work with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic systems.
  • Experience with CMMS systems.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Practical TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) implementation experience.
