Responsibilities
- Stage, load, and prepare paper and foil rolls at the laminator.
- Support the crew during machine downtime, including setups and breakdowns.
- Perform quality inspections using automated equipment and maintain logs.
- Report any anomalies impacting process quality according to client specifications.
- Participate in WCM (World Class Manufacturing) team activities to reduce losses.
- Comply with safety policies and food safety standards (BRC, GMP).
- Participate in Autonomous Maintenance (AM) teams and activities.
- Follow AM methodology to improve machine reliability, quality, and efficiency.
- Ensure all lamination procedures are followed to prevent waste generation.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 6 months of experience in production/manufacturing or machine operation.
- Basic machine maintenance skills.
- Experience with quality inspection and machine systems handling.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Dependability and reliability.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to read, understand, and comply with work directions, training manuals, safety rules, SOPs, and WCM processes.
