Responsibilities
- Perform dimensional inspections, product testing, and conformity verification.
- Operate measuring equipment such as CMM, vision systems, gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
- Prepare and issue measurement and test reports.
- Analyze test results and report non-conformities.
- Support customer complaints, supplier issues, and internal investigations through laboratory analysis.
- Participate in root cause analysis and quality improvement activities.
- Ensure traceability of samples, test data, and laboratory records.
- Verify calibration status of laboratory equipment and support MSA studies.
- Support audits and maintain compliance with customer, product, and process requirements.
- Train operators and technicians on measurement methods when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
- 1+ years of experience in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of dimensional inspection, CMM operation, and product testing techniques.
- Understanding of MSA fundamentals and technical drawing interpretation (GD&T).
- Familiarity with Control Plans, APQP, PPAP, and PFMEA.
- Strong attention to detail, precision, and analytical thinking.
- Good communication skills and reliability.
- Customer-focused with strong execution and decision-making abilities.
- English and French language skills
