Responsibilities

  • Manage laptop and accessory ordering, receiving, inventory tracking, and distribution.
  • Provide day-to-day support for laptop, desktop, and mobile device issues for local and remote employees.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware problems, escalating when appropriate.
  • Coordinate hardware shipping and returns, including packaging, labeling, and chain-of-custody practices.
  • Support rollouts of new tools, systems, and updates to end users.
  • Maintain desktop environment security practices.
  • Assist with basic upkeep, hardware replacements and troubleshooting of network, teleconference, lab, and data center equipment.

Requirements

  • Proficiency supporting Windows and macOS endpoints in a professional environment.
  • Customer-first mindset and clear communication in spoken and written English with technical and non-technical users.
  • Hands-on familiarity with PC hardware components and structured troubleshooting skills.
  • Working knowledge of mobile operating systems (iOS and Android) and common device, application, and connectivity problems.
  • Strong organizational habits to manage inventory, assets, shipping/receiving, and multiple concurrent support requests.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel, and SharePoint for tracking, documenting, and coordinating work.
  • Ability to document and follow standard operating procedures and contribute to improving support processes.
