Amazon India is seeking an Investigation Specialist in Bangalore for its Transaction Risk Management Team to investigate and eliminate online ecommerce risk. This role requires excellent judgment, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and communicate effectively with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience in ecommerce payments and trust and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Research and evaluate facts surrounding seller transactions.
  • Take appropriate action on investigated transactions based on established standard operating procedures and tools.
  • Document actions by providing detailed annotations.
  • Communicate with external customers via phone or email during the investigation process.
  • Communicate with internal customers and peers in person, via email, annotations, and phone.
  • Understand issues and use available resources to resolve them.
  • Systematically escalate problems or variances to the relevant owners/teams.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understand performance metrics to create analysis for driving business goals.
  • Meet predetermined and assigned productivity targets and quality standards.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Fluent in English (speak, write, read)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • Experience in payments or e-commerce

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Delivered strong performance on key metrics for the past 12 months.
  • 6+ months in the role, worked on one or more operational workflows, queues, or functional domains within the team and/or department.
