Responsibilities
- Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
- Handle all aspects of crating for pumps and equipment to ensure damage-free shipping.
- Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
- Package and label shipments according to guidelines and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control.
- Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
- Provide quality paint jobs for pumps and equipment, including necessary paint preparation steps.
Requirements
- High school diploma (minimum)
- Experience in logistics
- Experience with UPS / FEDEX
- Experience with online freight software
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Experience with ERP system (SAP)
