Seeking an experienced International Service Engineer with a Marine Engineering background to perform troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning of PureSOx systems. The role involves site support at shipyards, system audits, and providing instructions to crew, requiring fluency in English and at least 6 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot PureSOx systems, including preparing job requirements, installing/replacing parts, and managing PLC/HMI software.
- Tune pump VFDs, calibrate measurement instruments (pH, PAH, gas analyser), and test alarm functions.
- Verify job compliance with Global Technical Specialist.
- Provide site support and commissioning for PureSOx systems at shipyards.
- Conduct PureSOx systems condition audits and sensor exchanges.
- Report daily progress to Global Technical Specialist and Global Coordinator.
- Instruct crew on the cause of issues and provide updates.
- Submit time sheets and expense reports in a timely manner.
- Assist other EGC departments with various jobs as requested.
Requirements
- Marine Engineering background with strong hands-on electrical skills.
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a Marine Engineer (on board or yard) or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of commissioning experience for comparable installations.
- Minimum 1 year of EGC commissioning experience.
- Fluent in English.
