Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Data Center Operations leaders, HRBPs, and partner teams to innovate and implement HR strategies in talent and performance management, compensation, and employee relations.
  • Leverage Builder listening mechanisms to monitor and analyze Builder sentiment trends, providing updates and recommended actions to leadership.
  • Proactively leverage Builder sentiment data to advocate for Builders’ needs, ensuring they feel engaged and valued.
  • Partner with leaders at multiple levels to develop proactive strategies and goals focused on the Builder experience.
  • Actively engage with Builders by conducting weekly Gemba Go See (GGS) walks.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as HRBPs, Employee Relations, and Labor Relations to align on Builder engagement actions.
  • Consult, coach, and develop site leadership through decision making with empathy and sound judgment.
  • Foster and role model an environment of inclusion for all Builders.
  • Support Builder queries and situations with discretion and expertise, navigating Amazon Policies.
  • Conduct workplace investigations in collaboration with Builder Relations.
  • Own and deliver site specific people projects in partnership with site leadership.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant Human Resources Generalist experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business/Management, Psychology, or a related field
  • Strong business and HR acumen
  • Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking and analysis
  • Experience consulting on complex performance management cases
  • Employee Relations/Investigations experience
  • Criminal certificate is required
