Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic direction, business performance, and long-term development of the Product Unit Guided Systems.
  • Have overall responsibility for profitability, growth, and sustainability, including full P&L and order intake.
  • Drive the development of the next generation portfolio, a major investment for the Business Unit.
  • Represent and strengthen Ground Combat's position with customers, partners, and stakeholders nationally and internationally.
  • Manage business execution and product lifecycle from development to delivery and evolution.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships in collaboration with Saab Group functions.
  • Develop the organization, capabilities, and leadership to support continued growth.
  • Challenge existing ways of working and identify opportunities for short-term performance and long-term competitiveness.
  • Travel nationally and internationally as required.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of leading and developing complex international businesses with partner-based operations.
  • Experience from complex product development, systems development, or system-of-systems environments, preferably in a technology-intensive industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving growth, profitability, strategic business development, and establishing international supply chains.
  • Passion for people leadership and organizational development, with a coaching mindset.
  • Ability to translate strategy into clear priorities and drive execution through a matrix-based organization.
  • Strong business mindset and ability to lead in a complex, international, and technology-driven environment.
  • High level of accountability and drive to deliver results.
  • Clear and engaging communicator who leads through values, vision, and goals.
  • Ability to create clarity in complex situations, set clear expectations, and empower people.
  • Must pass a security vetting.
