Responsibilities

  • Spend first 6 months in rapid learning, gaining expertise with NI tools and sales process while supporting customers.
  • Partner with Account Manager to support customer sales requests, provide demos, training, and configuration.
  • Balance time between inbound sales demand, marketing generated leads, customer presentations, and prospecting.
  • Develop test and measurement expertise.
  • Qualify demand and escalate opportunities to Account Managers.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to others within the team.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, technical support, operations, and business units.
  • Travel to customer sites for training, lunch and learns, and product presentations.
  • Collaborate with partner and distribution channels.
  • Create a business plan to drive business success in territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
  • Strong desire to pursue a long-term career in technical sales, marketing, or applications engineering.
  • Solid understanding of electronics, computers, and high-level programming languages (C, Python, LabVIEW, etc).
  • Ability to relocate to Paris (FR), Milan (IT), Munich (DE) or Reading (UK) for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Willingness to relocate elsewhere in Europe if interested in Sales or Applications Engineering path.
  • Available for moderate travel.
  • German and English language competency and effective communication skills.
