Responsibilities

  • Lead the store goods flow team and collaborate with management to ensure highest goods availability at lowest cost.
  • Ensure effective, qualitative, and efficient goods flow processes for a great customer shopping experience.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop talents within the goods flow team to build a competent and diverse team.
  • Work with managers to secure correct usage of short and mid-term capacity and plan for future logistics needs.
  • Contribute goods flow input to the store business plan and logistics action plan.
  • Ensure effective communication flow to relevant stakeholders regarding goods flow topics.
  • Ensure internal and external governing documents are understood and implemented by the team.
  • Contribute to a people and planet positive business through sustainable and environmentally conscious actions.
  • Ensure team compliance with IKEA Code of Conduct, regulations, and local legislation (health, safety, security, environment).
  • Live IKEA Values and nurture a strong IKEA Culture.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of fulfilment performance monitoring and KPI's.
  • Knowledge of working methods to prevent goods' damage during in-store goods flow processes.
  • Knowledge of merchandising principles for attractive sales spaces.
  • Knowledge of creating, following, and maintaining guiding framework documents.
  • Knowledge of the process for allocating products to sales locations.
  • Understanding of how to use IKEA Toolbox, My Learning, and other learning materials for competence development.
  • Knowledge of standard operating procedures for forklift drivers to ensure safety.
  • Knowledge of planning logistics resources and processes according to sales scenarios.
  • Understanding of how to lead and manage to build high-performing teams and secure succession.
