Responsibilities
- Prepare export documents as per required formats and Customs norms.
- Liaise with Bank and other related agencies.
- Ensure Customs Compliance and Documentation.
- Communicate timely with customers.
- Use economical packaging and transportation.
- Timely order entry and acknowledge orders.
- Procure Packing material.
- Provide customer total ownership for quotation, order processing, execution, communication & Invoicing.
- Manage the order execution process, from order acknowledgment to deliveries.
- Maintain response time as a key preformance indicator.
- Act as an interface between customers & Factory.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and provide proactive, prompt responses to customer needs.
- Achieve invoicing targets for the business.
- Ensure achievement of order (TAT) and timely execution of clear orders.
- Maintain a clear backlog of executable orders.
- Support customers to obtain current readiness dates and communicate changes.
- Coordinate technically and commercially with various inspection agencies.
- Be an active Team Manager in ALPS drives.
Requirements
- 5-6 years of experience in similar field.
- Thorough knowledge and Practical experience of Import Export Policy Procedures, compliance, rules, and regulations.
- Customs clearance, HS Classification and HS Code wise requirements such as SIMS, BIS, SCOMAT, export import related GST compliance.
- Liaising with government officials such as Customs, DGFT and other agencies like CHA, Freight forwarders etc.
- Working experience of commercial transactions, business environment and internal external customer collaboration.
- Export Invoice Generation, ERP Exports and Import documentation and co-ordinations.
- Knowledge of International Logistics, different modes and category of exports imports, Incoterms, Letter of credit transactions.
- Good communication both in written and verbal.
- Quick learner and able to handle pressure independently.
- Good team player, multitasking.
- Self-motivated leadership qualities and independently able to handle import export end-to-end process.
- International logistics knowledge and experience of efficient low-cost logistics strategies.
- Ensure accurate HS code classification and strict compliance with national and international trade regulations.
- Prepare and Audit trade documentation, including Bill of Lading (BL), Commercial Invoices, packing lists, Certificate of Origin and Letters of Credit.
- Coordinate freight bookings, container movement and shipment tracking.
- Calculate landed costs, verify duty payments and audit logistics invoices.
- Knowledge of MS Office, ERP system (D365 as added advantage).
- People management skills.
- Sales Support / Order Execution Experience.
