Microsoft is seeking a Full Stack Infrastructure Consultant to design, build, and optimize end-to-end cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions. This hybrid role requires 4-8 years of industry experience, with at least 4+ years in Azure, and mandatory Azure Administrator certification (AZ104).

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize end-to-end cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing environments across the entire technology stack.
  • Responsible for technical quality assurance, identification, and mitigation of technical risk across customer or partner deliverables.
  • Apply technical experience and industry-specific knowledge to develop solutions based on an analysis of how the proposed approach affects the business objectives of customers and partners.
  • Apply information-compliance and assurance policies to ensure stakeholder confidence.
  • Identify new processes and innovations to help customers or partners build and accelerate capabilities by using Microsoft technologies.
  • Identify the best practice approach for a project, across a wide scope of technical issues, and develop or reuse intellectual capital.
  • Define engagements and opportunities to use Intellectual Property (IP) and address product gaps, while leveraging existing IP and community resources.

Requirements

  • 4-8 years of industry experience with a minimum of 4+ years of Azure Infrastructure experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Mandatory Microsoft Azure Administrator certification (AZ104).
  • Terraform Associate certification strongly valued, with proven experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation.
  • Cloud AI certification such as Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals (AI‑900) or equivalent is a strong advantage.
  • Experience across both application architecture and cloud infrastructure domains.
  • Proficiency in Python for automation, AI integration, and scripting.
  • Experience with Azure AI Services (AI Foundry, AI Agent services, Azure AI Search, Vision, Speech, Translation).
  • Understanding of containerized AI workloads with strong hands-on expertise in AI Developer Tools from Microsoft (Visual Studio, GitHub Copilot, Azure AI Studio, Azure AI Foundry or similar).
  • Ability to integrate OpenAI/Frontier models into cloud environments with secure and scalable infrastructure patterns.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and deploying Azure Landing Zones.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS services across compute, storage, and networking.
  • Expertise in deploying business mission-critical applications on Azure.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure networking components including VNet, ExpressRoute, vWAN, ingress/egress patterns, and Network Virtual Appliances (NVAs).
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps, including YAML-based pipeline configuration.
  • Experience with at least one CI/CD platform: GitHub, GitLab, or Jenkins.
  • Strong automation skills using ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
  • Experience deploying infrastructure using a modular, reusable approach.
  • Multi-Cloud Migration experience (AWS or GCP to Azure migration).
  • Experience with large-scale cloud migration projects using tools like Azure Migrate.
  • Familiarity with all stages of the migration lifecycle.
  • Experience with container migration and modernization initiatives.
  • Strong command of network segmentation, NSGs, Azure Firewall, Private Link, VPN/ExpressRoute security, and Zero Trust networking.
  • Implement secure connectivity and encrypted network flows across hybrid and cloud environments.
  • Implement Azure Policy, Blueprints, governance guardrails, and secure by design patterns.
  • Experience in meeting compliance standards and performing cloud security assessments.
  • Deploy secure landing zones following CAF & WAF principles.
  • Ensuring alignment with industry frameworks like Zero Trust principles.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering customer-facing projects in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Experience conducting technical workshops, envisioning sessions, and solution design engagements.
  • Exposure to multiple industries and sectors.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven adaptability to new technologies and evolving customer requirements.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Desired Qualifications

  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ305) highly preferred.
  • Cloud AI certification such as Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals (AI‑900) or equivalent is a strong advantage, with practical understanding of AI/ML workloads on cloud platforms.
  • Working knowledge of other CI/CD platforms (GitHub, GitLab, or Jenkins) is a plus.
  • Higher education preferred.
