Responsibilities

  • Partner with product teams to solve complex technical challenges and accelerate innovation.
  • Build solutions, introduce new technologies and platforms.
  • Help teams successfully adopt modern engineering practices.
  • Build and improve shared platforms, tools, and components for reuse.
  • Explore and apply technologies such as AI, cloud, edge computing, and real-time systems.
  • Enable teams to adopt modern technologies and engineering practices.
  • Help establish new ways of working that increase speed, quality, and collaboration.
  • Turn ambiguous challenges into clear, practical solutions.
  • Influence technical direction and long-term platform strategy.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience working with software or systems engineering in complex product or technology environments.
  • Experience designing, building, or evolving technical solutions that are used by others.
  • Familiarity with modern engineering practices such as cloud technologies, CI/CD, automation, platform engineering, or distributed systems.
  • An interest in how AI, data, and emerging technologies can create practical value.
  • The ability to break down complex problems and turn uncertainty into clear direction.
  • Strong collaboration skills and an eagerness to learn from and share knowledge with others.
  • Must pass a security vetting.

Desired Qualifications

  • Background may be in software engineering, systems engineering, data engineering, platform engineering, or a related field.
  • Comfortable taking ownership of technical challenges.
  • Experience with cloud-native platforms and infrastructure.
  • Experience with AI/ML applications in real-world products.
  • Experience with platform engineering and reusable building blocks.
  • Experience with systems architecture and technical leadership.
  • Experience with real-time, safety-critical, or highly regulated environments.
