Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain IKEA Food menu items according to the IKEA Food concept.
  • Adhere to food handling, health, and sustainability standards.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and process sales transactions efficiently.
  • Maintain equipment operation and perform cleaning maintenance.
  • Ensure a clean supply of dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils.
  • Manage the Swedish Food Market, including merchandising, pricing, and stock rotation.
  • Ensure accurate price communication across all food solutions.
  • Maintain supply rotation and stocking using FIFO and expiration dates.
  • Implement IKEA Food policies for goods receiving and inventory.
  • Adhere to safe food handling, workplace safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.

Requirements

  • Passion for food, cooking, and serving customers.
  • Understanding of food's role in everyday life.
  • Must be able to work nights & weekends.
  • Open availability required Friday through Sunday.
  • Completion of a background check and drug test.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in a food service or restaurant environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Scandinavian heritage and modern taste of Sweden is a plus.
