Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain IKEA Food menu items according to the IKEA Food concept.
  • Adhere to food handling, health, and sustainability standards.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and process sales transactions accurately.
  • Maintain equipment operation through adherence to operating guidelines.
  • Ensure a clean supply of dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, pots, pans, and trays.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of dining and play areas.
  • Manage the Swedish Food Market, overseeing merchandising, pricing, stock rotation, and cleaning.
  • Ensure accurate and timely price communication across all food solutions.
  • Maintain supply rotation and stocking according to First In, First Out (FIFO) and expiration dates.
  • Implement IKEA Food policies and procedures for goods receiving and monthly inventory.
  • Adhere to safe food handling, workplace safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.

Requirements

  • Passion for food, whether cooking or serving customers.
  • Ability to adhere to food handling, health, and sustainability standards.
  • Proficiency in processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Adherence to cash handling policies.
  • Ability to maintain equipment operation and perform cleaning maintenance.
  • Ability to maintain a clean supply of dishes and utensils.
  • Ability to maintain the cleanliness and organization of dining and play areas.
  • Knowledge of merchandising, pricing, and stock rotation.
  • Understanding of First In, First Out (FIFO) and expiration date management.
  • Adherence to safe food handling, workplace safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
  • Availability for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday shifts as a minimum requirement.
