Emerson is seeking a Financial Analyst for their Financial Services Group in Pune, India. The role involves supporting month-end closure, preparing sales/bookings/backlog reports, analyzing cost centers and balance sheets, driving automation, and refreshing PBI dashboards. Ideal candidates have a Finance degree or MBA with 2 years of experience, and proficiency in Power BI and Power Automate.

Responsibilities

  • Support month-end closure activities.
  • Prepare and publish weekly sales, bookings, and backlog reports.
  • Prepare and analyze cost center reports with commentary.
  • Work on and analyze various centralized reports.
  • Drive automation and continuous improvement for process standardization.
  • Refresh and publish PBI Dashboards.
  • Prepare and analyze Balance Sheet schedules with supporting documentation.
  • Prepare and publish MIS reports.
  • Support contingency as a back-up within the team.
  • Support in Audit processes.
  • Support on ad-hoc requests and analysis.
  • Support and drive a continuous improvement culture within the group.

Requirements

  • Fresher Finance Professional degree or MBA Finance with 2 years of experience.
  • Power BI, Power Automate, and other technical skillsets.
  • Analytical thinking ability and good team player.
  • Ability to suggest and implement improvements to processes.
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant, CMA, MBA Finance.
  • Basic understanding of Accounting Principles and US GAAP.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
