Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate financial information.
- Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual actual financial closes, meeting reporting deadlines and explaining variations.
- Handle Revenue & COS Recognition in Oracle system.
- Perform Control Account (WIP/UBR/UER) Reconciliations.
- Prepare Project Flash Data for WA Flash submission.
- Work on various MIS Reports for finance stakeholders.
- Interact with Business Unit Project Controller during month-end close, explain and document P&L and balance sheet variances.
- Prepare records for correct Revenue Recognition and Project Accounting.
- Conduct month-end checks (EAC movements, Loss Accruals, Cost Corrections).
- Provide post month-end reports for local management.
- Perform WIP analysis, UBR/UER bridge analysis, and project profitability analysis.
- Manage projects in Oracle, including timely closure, cost and revenue reconciliations.
- Generate project financial reports (Noetix Master Data, ITD Invoice reports, Project Status Inquiry).
- Analyze project budgets, costs, and revenues in Oracle.
- Identify efficiency and process improvements for financial reporting.
- Support internal and external audit requests.
- Undertake various ad-hoc projects.
Requirements
- Flexible to work as per Asia Pacific timelines, especially during month ends.
- Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in FP&A Domain.
- Hands-on experience in ERP, MS Office, and reporting tools.
- Self-starter, suggesting and implementing process improvements.
- Ability to manage stakeholders, complexities, and ambiguity.
- Demonstrated ability to roll up sleeves and support team members.
- High standards of accuracy and highly organized.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant, CMA.
- Basic understanding of Accounting Principles and US GAAP.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- System knowledge of Oracle, Hyperion Financial Management.
- Experience with Power BI or related presentation tools.
