BeaconMedaes is seeking a Field Service Technician in St. Louis, MO to perform maintenance and repairs on medical gas equipment. The role requires 3-5 years of experience, an Associate Degree or equivalent technical training, and ASSE certification. Responsibilities include performing diagnostics, repairs, documentation, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on medical gas equipment at customer sites.
  • Ensure highest standards of safety, quality, and service.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Complete Job Reports daily, Time Sheets weekly, and Expense Reports at least monthly.
  • Return parts replaced under warranty as requested.
  • Provide a high level of customer service and respond to customer needs.
  • Serve as an ambassador for the company.
  • Train and assist other Service Technicians as requested.
  • Provide technical support to other departments and personnel as required.
  • Promote and practice proper safety procedures and correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a professional image at all times.
  • Maintain the service vehicle per manufacturer’s recommendations.
  • Properly store and manage inventory levels of accuracy.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of technical field service experience maintaining and repairing equipment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul and repair of a wide variety of compressed air or vacuum equipment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
  • Must have ASSE 6005 and ASSE 6040 credentials or the ability to obtain ASSE certification within 1 year of employment.

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate Degree or equivalent.
  • Technical training in mechanical and/or electrical, or equivalent experience.
  • Must be comfortable using a computer.
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical components.
  • Customer Focused.
  • Good Oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail Orientated.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • The ability to travel on short notice may be required.
