HCLTech is seeking an ERP Specialist in Hyderabad, Telangana. This role focuses on Java and Kotlin development, including dependency management, backward compatibility analysis, patch management, static analysis, debugging, and unit testing. Experience with the Google tech stack is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Deep understanding of the Java language, runtime behavior, bytecode compatibility, and common library APIs.
  • Manage dependencies using Maven.
  • Perform backward compatibility analysis by reviewing release notes and changelogs.
  • Create, maintain, and resolve merge conflicts in patches.
  • Resolve compilation failures using static analysis.
  • Debug reverse-dependencies to identify issues in unrelated team tests after library upgrades.
  • Write unit tests.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Java (Level 5).
  • Proficiency in Dependency Management (Maven) (Level 5).
  • Backward Compatibility Analysis skills (Level 3).
  • Patch Management skills (Level 4).
  • Static Analysis experience (Level 5).
  • Debugging Reverse-Dependencies skills (Level 4).
  • Unit testing skills (Level 5).
  • Experience with Google Tech stack (Level 3).

Desired Qualifications

  • Kotlin proficiency (Good to have, Level 3).
  • Copybara experience (Good to have, Level 3).
