Qualcomm is seeking a Senior Engineer in Hyderabad, India, to drive security software execution for mobile SoCs. This role requires strong C/C++ programming, ARM architecture knowledge, and experience with RTOS and Linux.

Responsibilities

  • Drive execution of security software for Qualcomm mobile SoCs from pre-silicon to commercialization.
  • Interact with cross-functional technology teams to triage system level issues and propose solutions.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of ARMv7, v8, and v9 architecture including security (Trustzone), virtualization, exception, and memory management.
  • Strong knowledge in the security domain for the xPU/SMMU/VMIDMT and Cryptographic HW modules.
  • Strong C/C++ and assembly programming experience.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Python is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge in ZephryOS/FreeRTOS/AnyRTOS and LinuxOS.
  • Excellent debugging skillset to debug complex system level issues including use of HW debuggers like Lauterbach Trace32.
  • Well-versed with Linux-based development environments.
  • Very good understanding of the software lifecycle process.
  • Ability to work under pressure, be a problem solver and a team player.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Desired Qualifications

  • Any knowledge/experience on RISC-V will be an added plus.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Python will be an added plus.
  • Strong knowledge in ZephryOS/FreeRTOS/AnyRTOS and LinuxOS gives an edge for the engineer.
