Responsibilities

  • Handle the electrical scope of several mid and large-size projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery according to established timelines and budgets.
  • Perform electrical engineering activities, including specification of complete electrical systems, control panels, starter panels, HMI panels, cabling, technical documentation, manuals, and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
  • Prepare technical specifications and Requests for Quotation (RFQ) for MCCs and other electrical panels based on inputs from Process and Automation Engineers.
  • Specify electrical components and systems for customer projects, systems, and plants.
  • Participate in proposal development, sales support activities, and customer meetings related to electrical engineering topics.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives by improving design solutions, procurement strategies, and project execution methods.
  • Support equipment start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities remotely or on customer sites when required.
  • Implement and maintain standardized electrical workflows, templates, and engineering practices to ensure efficiency, quality, and consistency across projects.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing to develop electrical suppliers, panel manufacturers, and supply chain capabilities.
  • Manage multiple hardware and electrical projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with project schedules and budgets defined by the Project Manager.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of standardized tender material and documentation for electrical and hardware solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably within industrial systems, process industries, marine, energy, or similar environments.
  • Proven experience with electrical system design, MCCs, control panels, HMI systems, and technical documentation.
  • Experience supporting commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting activities for industrial equipment or systems.
  • Good understanding of project execution, cost optimization, procurement processes, and supplier management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, sales, project management, and purchasing teams.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
