Responsibilities
- Performs simple annotation-related tasks in areas like audio, image, and video files using internal tools.
- May participate in data collection activities with provided scripts and instructions.
- Applies strong language skills, grammar, and linguistic rules to ensure generated text is clear and accurate.
- Maintains high internal quality of processes through quality audits and verification.
- Meets daily productivity and quality targets.
- Tracks queries related to annotation/data collection and shares them with stakeholders.
- Tracks daily task completion status and provides individual status reports.
- Adheres to confidentiality and compliance requirements.
- Provides specific and timely feedback to streamline processes and improve results.
- Offers remedial instruction in tool usage and other topics as required.
Requirements
- Strong command of the English language, including grammar, syntax, and vocabulary.
- Good familiarity with the Windows desktop environment and uses of Word, Excel, IE, Firefox etc.
- Flexibility and interest in doing repetitive tasks.
- High level of energy and proactive nature.
- A sense of ownership and drive and a willingness to accept the challenge of daily deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications.
- Background in linguistics, creative writing, computational linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate and interpret data to improve system performance.
- Passion for language, technology, and AI advancements.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience in multicultural communication, or experience and familiarity with US culture.
- Technical Writing certification or certificate in Creative Writing, English Literature, English, Literary Arts, Linguistics, or English as a Second Language.
