Ericsson is seeking a DevOps Architect in Budapest to design and operate enterprise-scale cloud platforms on Google Cloud. This hybrid role involves implementing Kubernetes/GKE, CI/CD pipelines, and automation using Terraform, with opportunities for leadership and influencing cloud strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build central platform capabilities on Google Cloud for secure, standardized deployments.
  • Implement and operate Kubernetes/GKE infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud networking at scale.
  • Automate manual processes for deployments, provisioning, and operations using Terraform and scripting.
  • Support application teams with onboarding, troubleshooting, and accelerating time-to-production.
  • Drive platform improvements through automation, standardization, and operational excellence.
  • Own end-to-end delivery of platform services, from architecture to production support.

Requirements

  • Proven working experience in Google Cloud (or any other cloud provider), Terraform, CI/CD, and Kubernetes/GKE.
  • Strong background in cloud networking, automation, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting, architecture, and problem-solving skills.
  • Track record delivering cloud transformations, platform engineering, or large-scale automation programs.
  • Ability to code and automate, not just create diagrams.
  • Must be a local (Hungary based) applicant.
