AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Data Centre Operation Technician in Mumbai, Maharashtra, to maintain and support AWS global cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities include server rack installation, hardware break-fix, network troubleshooting, and responding to operational stability issues in a 24x7 shift rotation environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and upkeep of data center infrastructure.
  • Server rack installation and hardware break-fix on various components.
  • Troubleshooting network issues and responding to emergent situations.
  • Acting as a primary contact for internal customers and external service partners.
  • Meeting SLAs against assigned trouble tickets and performing first-line hardware troubleshooting.
  • Performing on-call duties and participating in scheduled maintenance and change management.
  • Contributing to documentation on technical issues through root cause analysis.
  • Participating in team meetings for metric analysis and goal achievement.
  • Assisting in training less experienced team members (for more experienced technicians).

Requirements

  • 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • 1+ years of computer networking experience.
  • High school or equivalent diploma.
