Responsibilities
- Ensure local credit policy is followed and contribute to improvements.
- Conduct credit investigations and evaluate customer credit worthiness to minimize risk.
- Perform collection activities to keep overdues to a minimum.
- Monitor individual credit accounts to identify and address problem debts.
- Collaborate with finance counterparts, including Shared Service Center and Local Finance personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of credit and collection experience in a complex global organization.
- Collection knowledge of the manufacturing environment and purchase orders.
- Proficient analytical, credit analysis, and collection skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Commitment to outstanding customer service and support.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks within a fluctuating workload.
- Ability to work with all levels of management and marketing/sales departments.
- Experience using online collections tools (e.g., Get Paid, HighRadius).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel.
- Knowledge of accounts receivable sub-ledger transactions.
- Demonstration of sound business judgment and shared values.
- Must reside in the US or have an established presence in the area.
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to speak Spanish is a plus but not required.
- Experience supporting multiple industries, Business Units, and entities.
- Pymetrics assessments upon application.
