Electrolux Group is seeking a Central Material Planner to join their team in Egypt. This role is responsible for formulating strategies, driving growth, and optimizing inventory availability. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Issue POs to optimize inventory availability and maximize DSA.
  • Follow up on monthly requisitions for local and foreign materials.
  • Maintain inventories of imported materials to meet production plans.
  • Manage materials requirements with Purchasing and Warehouse departments.
  • Monitor scrap materials and slow-moving items.
  • Coordinate with the Service center for spare parts delivery.
  • Introduce new models on production lines.
  • Evaluate section performance by calculating turnover ratio and material availability.
  • Conduct Monthly Component stock 3D Analysis (ABC – XYZ – RRS) to control NOWC.
  • Communicate Receiving team Leader by Boxes delivery Plan on weekly/daily basis.
  • Monthly Safety stock reanalysis to define optimal safety stock for Owned ANCs.
  • Manage Phase in/out plans for Components & RM to ensure 100% depletion and zero obsolescence.
  • Fix budget with Purchasing and review component requirements.
  • Manage and issue Production/Delivery orders by checking daily production plan and delivery status.
  • Manage non-compliant deliveries and arrange for replacement of defective material/component.
  • Manage obsolete components, develop actions for internal usage or supplier re-work, and manage accounting.
  • Manage the use of components not included in the bill of materials.
  • Continuously monitor the status of own assigned component stock.
  • Consolidate requirements from each factory for the same commodity and supplier.
  • Assess supplier adherence comparing plan vs estimate vs actual dates & quantities.
  • Monitor Control Cash Flow by controlling inbound cash flow with current liabilities.
  • Close the cycle with receiving WH team to ensure good receiving and report rejected shipments.
  • Monitor Custody Shipments in the receiving area to release them from customs.
  • Conduct frequent supplier visits for alignment and performance development.
  • Control and manage document circulation related to shipments and validate them against government Banking and ports requirements.
  • Review Actual Suppliers Lead-time compared to theoretical to reduce lead-time and develop component stocks.
  • Follow up open orders from issuance to reception at WH, arrange shipping, manage documents, and follow clearance.
  • Manage the Process with Customs & TF and control the Cost of Demurrage.
  • Participate in sourcing boards, giving supplier ratings from a Supply Chain point of view.
  • Review and confirm Purchasing contracts on system for validation and completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 2-5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns.
  • Strong communication ability (both written and spoken).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders across functions.
  • Ability to tackle demands of ever-evolving technological implements with ease.
