Tetra Pak is seeking an Automation Pre-Project Leader in Chakan, India, to support and deliver advanced integrated plant automation and digital solutions. This role involves leading pre-projects, developing technical concepts, coordinating with engineers and suppliers, and managing customer needs and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support sales of advanced automation solutions and provide technical concepts for pre-projects and sales phases.
  • Lead pre-projects for Automation & Digital, including preparing cost estimates and coordinating with engineers and suppliers.
  • Understand and articulate technical and financial aspects of proposals to various stakeholders.
  • Participate in customer and market company meetings to detail needs and requirements.
  • Promote Digital solutions and capabilities from the central/regional Automation and Digital portfolio.
  • Deliver proposals for Advanced Digital solutions (MES/MIS/MOM) in coordination with Digital Solution and Business Development teams.
  • Create solution designs, technical descriptions, division of responsibility, and equipment specifications.
  • Manage diverse stakeholders including customers, sales, business development, global portfolio, market operations teams, and suppliers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience in Information Technologies, Computer Science, Automation Solutions, Electrical or Electronic engineering, or process control.
  • Very good understanding of Siemens and Rockwell software.
  • Knowledge of MES systems.
  • Knowledge of Electrical systems, MCC, IMCC, Cables etc.
  • Good knowledge of IT/OT technologies and system infrastructure including networking & connectivity and cyber security.
  • Capability to translate customer needs into production solutions.
  • Good command of English and fluent local language (written and verbal).

Desired Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in similar organizations is preferable.
  • Knowledge or experience of Tetra Pak Automation & Digital systems.
  • Familiarity with Industry standards -S88 and S95.
  • Understanding of Packaging Integration solutions is a plus.
  • A positive, proactive, and driven team player.
