As an Associate Solutions Architect at AWS Finland, you will manage the technical relationship with customers in Finland and the Baltics, providing recommendations on security, cost, performance, and operational efficiency. You will educate customers on AWS, build trusted advisor relationships, and contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall technical relationship between AWS and our customers.
- Make recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency to accelerate challenging projects.
- Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in architectural discussions.
- Build the technical relationship with customers and operate as their trusted advisor.
- Share customer needs and wants internally to inform the roadmap of AWS features.
- Participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures.
- Evangelize and educate about AWS through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos, or conferences.
- Contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organization by hiring, coaching, and mentoring others.
- Develop areas of depth in technical domains relevant to your interests and your customer's outcomes.
- Work with account managers to help customers accelerate their cloud implementation.
- Design modern target architectures optimized for business agility, innovation, performance, resiliency, cost, and security using both native and partner solutions.
Requirements
- Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- Working knowledge of software development practices and technologies.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
- Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in infrastructure or software architecture with knowledge in associated technology areas such as databases, networking, and security.
- Experience in pre-sales engineering or solutions architecture for technology/software sales.
- Prior domain experience in enterprise cloud adoption and operating workloads on AWS.
- Knowledge of cloud native design patterns, DevOps practices, and AWS services.
- Experience with AI/ML and AIDLC.
- Public speaking experience or passion for creating technical content.
- Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science, Maths, Engineering or equivalent) and/or relevant tech experience.
