We are seeking an Assembly & Test Technician for our new facility in Buffalo, NY. This role involves assembling and testing modules, cables, and dry pumps according to engineered drawings and procedures, ensuring quality and production flow. A high school diploma or equivalent experience is required, along with knowledge of mechanical assembly and experience with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test modules, cables, and dry pumps in line with the daily production plan, focusing on quality and output targets.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area.
  • Follow assembly and test instructions and procedures to meet output quality requirements.
  • Support the training of team members and collaborate to drive improvement and efficiency.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with department colleagues and supporting departments.
  • Communicate and seek guidance where there are errors or difficulty in build.
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the assembly meets quality standards.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent / associated experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of the principles of mechanical component constructions and assembly and test.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and diagrams.
  • Experience with hand tools and small power tools, including pneumatic.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).

  • Repetitive assembly tasks requiring fine motor skills and endurance.

  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.
  • Flexibility for bending/twisting/reaching.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions.
  • Willingness to wear protective equipment daily.
  • Comfortable working in an environment with noise, contaminants, or distractions daily.
