Responsibilities
- Lead and direct a team of production assemblers to achieve daily and weekly output targets.
- Drive a safety-first culture by modeling safe behaviors and enforcing safety standards.
- Provide hands-on supervision, coaching, and training to assembly personnel.
- Communicate production status, escalate issues, and coordinate troubleshooting across departments.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment (6S).
- Apply and promote Atlas Copco Vacuum Technique Production System (VTPS) principles.
- Foster a positive, collaborative team environment.
- Serve as the primary point of expertise for assembly processes.
- Maintain accurate labor transactions and routing updates in Encompix.
- Lead the performance management cycle for direct reports.
- Maintain consistent attendance and professionalism.
- Take direction from the Flow Team Manager and support additional responsibilities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of assembly experience required.
- 1-3 years of lead or supervisory experience.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
- Proficiency with hand tools and small power tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise a small team.
