Quincy Compressor is seeking a remote Field Service Technician in Mobile, AL, to perform troubleshooting and repair of air compressors and related equipment. This role requires 3-5 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or electronic repair and excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, auto drains, flow controllers, vacuum pumps, and blowers.
  • Pressure wash and clean customer equipment pads including skids, coolers, concrete, tanks, etc.
  • Communicate with customers and Service Manager regarding services performed and repair options.
  • Completely fill out all work orders, start-up forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, and parts return slips.
  • Train and assist other Service Technicians.
  • Promote and practice proper safety procedures and correct use of personal and protective equipment.
  • Set, install, and pipe compressor systems as needed.
  • Participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a compressor technician.
  • Expertise in mechanical, electrical, or electronic repair.
  • Customer-focused with ownership of meeting customer needs.
  • Ability to supply all basic required tools.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with air dryers (regenerative and refrigerated), auto drains, flow controllers, vacuum pumps, and blowers.
