This is a 3-month Business Development Intern position at Qualcomm China in Beijing. The intern will support the Carrier BD team, participate in technical coordination, assist with business cooperation matters, track industry trends, and help organize documentation. Ideal candidates are full-time undergraduate or graduate students with an interest in the carrier ecosystem and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations of the Carrier BD team and follow up on cooperation initiatives.
  • Participate in technical coordination with partners (handset makers, module makers, terminal makers) including test verification and technical exchanges.
  • Assist with business cooperation matters like document preparation, contract follow-up, and communication coordination.
  • Track industry trends and competitor cooperation cases within the carrier ecosystem, conducting research and analysis.
  • Help organize and maintain documentation and databases for cooperation projects.

Requirements

  • Full-time undergraduate or graduate student in Communications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Marketing, International Trade, or related fields.
  • Interest in or basic understanding of the carrier ecosystem and its related partners.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, capable of handling both technical and business matters.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and spoken), ability to work with bilingual (Chinese/English) documents.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, execution ability, and fast learning capability.
  • Good documentation and project-tracking skills, ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Able to commit to at least 4 days per week.

Desired Qualifications

  • Internship or project experience with telecom carriers, handset/module/terminal companies.
  • Exposure to business contracts or legal/compliance processes.
  • Experience with cross-departmental or cross-team collaboration projects.
  • Preferred internship duration of 6 months or longer.
