Emerson is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator in Wangara, Western Australia for a full-time, on-site role. This position supports daily warehouse operations, including goods inward, dispatch assistance, and inventory management, ensuring safe and efficient handling of materials.
Responsibilities
- Support warehouse operations for goods inward, including receipting, checking, storing, and distributing materials.
- Assist with goods outward activities such as picking, packing, and preparing shipments when required.
- Safely handle materials, including loading and unloading and moving goods throughout the warehouse.
- Help maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stocktakes, and basic record updates.
- Use systems and tools to record receipting, dispatch, and inventory movements.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as customer service, engineering, and operations to support smooth workflows.
- Work with couriers and logistics providers to help ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised warehouse environment in line with Emerson standards.
- Follow relevant transport, handling, and safety requirements.
- Operate forklifts or other equipment where trained and authorised.
- Demonstrate a commitment to health, safety, and environmental practices.
Requirements
- Some experience or exposure to a warehouse, logistics, or similar environment (this can include entry-level experience or transferable skills).
- Willingness to learn warehouse processes including receiving, dispatch, and inventory handling.
- A current forklift licence, or willingness to obtain one.
- Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stay organised and manage tasks in a busy environment.
- Good communication skills and a team-focused approach.
- A strong commitment to working safely.
- Ability to carry out the physical aspects of the role and use required safety equipment.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in warehousing, logistics, or distribution environments.
- Familiarity with warehouse or inventory systems (such as SAP or similar tools).
- Understanding of basic shipping or transport processes.
- Additional licences or training relevant to warehouse operations.
- Experience working with logistics providers or transport companies.
