Responsibilities

  • Supporting activities related to nuclear fuel
  • Participating in inspections of nuclear fuel and control rods
  • Reviewing technical reports, analyses and documentation
  • Supporting technical investigations and evaluations
  • Analyzing operational and inspection data
  • Contributing to development improvement initiatives
  • Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to solve technical challenges
  • Combining technical analysis with practical activities
  • Supporting ongoing operational activities and development initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, preferably within Energy Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in Swedish and English
  • An interest in nuclear technology, energy systems and industrial operations
  • Completed, or expect to complete, an academic degree before the programme starts in March 2027
  • No more than one year of relevant work experience after graduation, excluding internships and working-student roles
  • Fluent in English
  • Available for the full-time programme from its start date
  • Right to work in the country where the position is based, or meet the stated work-permit requirements

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience of programming, scripting or data analysis is considered an advantage
  • Knowledge of MATLAB or similar tools is considered an advantage
  • Experience from technical projects, laboratory work or industrial environments is considered an advantage
  • An interest in process improvement and digitalization is considered an advantage
  • Curious and eager to learn within a specialist field
  • Takes responsibility and approaches work in a structured way
  • Works well both independently and together with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Motivated by solving technical challenges and contributing to shared goals
