Trainee Data Analyst
About you:
- Experience: Up to 1 years' experience with analytical tools such as (MS Office Suites, SQL, Phyton, R, Power BI, etc.).
- Soft skills: Strong learning agility; Ability to manage ambiguous environments, and to adapt to changing needs of the business; Good interpersonal and communication skills; strong presentation skills a must; Team player who is curious, dynamic, result oriented and can work collaboratively; Ability to think strategically in an ambiguous environment; Ability to operate effectively in an international matrix environment, with ability to work across time zones; Demonstrated leadership and management in driving innovation and automation leveraging advanced statistical and analytical techniques
- Technical skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools or programs such as MS Excel, SQL, and/or Python/R/VBA.
- Basic understanding of statistical concepts and methods.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
- Knowledge of database querying languages such as SQL, Alteryx.
- Ability to clean, manipulate, and analyse data sets.
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques (depending on the job level).
- Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with data querying and data extraction from various sources.
- Having problem-solving approach with attention to detail and documentation skills
- Excellent communication skills to present findings and insights effectively
- An aptitude for problem solving and strategic thinking
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear and actionable insights
- Basic Understanding of pharmaceutical domain, therapy area product development, manufacturing, supply chain and marketing functions, if any
- Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in areas such as Information Science/Operations/Management/Statistics/Decision Sciences/Engineering/Life Sciences/Business Analytics or related field (e.g., PhD / MBA / Masters);
- Languages: Excellent knowledge in English and effective communication skills – written and spoken
