Responsibilities
- Define and deploy best practices, guidelines, tools, and templates in the traction domain.
- Ensure the technical quality of deliverables and support problem-solving activities.
- Capitalize on return of experience in the traction domain.
- Create and update knowledge guidelines, tools, and templates.
- Chair design reviews and approve technical solutions.
- Monitor and apply evolving standards and regulations.
- Coach and train engineers to develop their expertise.
- Provide support to engineers and contribute to problem-solving activities.
Requirements
- Engineering degree
- Ten years of experience in the traction domain
- Good knowledge of traction systems for railway applications
- Deep technical expertise in the traction field
- Strong ability to train and coach others
- Experience with problem-solving methodologies such as 8D and QRQC
- Strong skills in communication, cooperation, technical leadership, and continuous improvement
- Fluency in English
- Creativity and innovation within the technical domain
