Responsibilities
- Drive requirements scoping, analysis, and planning, including interdependencies, staffing constraints, and schedule optimization.
- Establish a clear Plan of Record and drive prioritization across the organization.
- Apply best practices through program initiation, planning, execution, and closing phases.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop program goals, set priorities, and drive decisions for on-time delivery.
- Establish execution discipline and communication processes, including risk management, tracking, and executive reporting.
- Develop program indicators and KPIs to manage program health, quality, and timelines.
- Promote program vision and objectives within the team and ensure they are met or exceeded.
- Own project schedule and track the execution of baseline software development.
- Develop and manage the execution of the program Plan of Record for multiple software programs.
- Drive teams to identify program issues/risks and create risk mitigation plans.
- Establish key program success metrics and manage action plans.
- Define and drive process frameworks for efficient execution and quality deliverables.
- Communicate clearly with executives, engineers, and stakeholders.
- Co-manage multi-year software roadmaps and coordinate across silicon, firmware, software, and emulation teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 4+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
- Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years of work experience (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years).
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years Program Management experience or related work experience.
- 5+ years in firmware development.
- PMP Certification and/or Agile Certification.
- Experience with agile program management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g. Director level and above).
- Experience working in a large matrixed organization.
- Highly organized, adaptable, with excellent verbal and written skills.
