We are seeking a Senior Denodo Developer to design, develop, and maintain data virtualization solutions. This role involves integrating data from multiple sources, optimizing queries, and ensuring secure access to enterprise data, acting as a software detective to solve complex system issues.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement virtual data layers using Denodo VDP
- Utilize Solution Manager for version control and deployments
- Connect to heterogeneous data sources (RDBMS, APIs, cloud storage, etc.)
- Partner with data architects, BI teams, and application developers
- Document processes and provide training to stakeholders
- Work in Agile/Scrum/DevOps projects
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards
- Provide maintenance support
Requirements
- 8+ years of strong working experience in Denodo
- Strong experience with Denodo Platform (VDP, Scheduler, Solution Manager)
- Proficiency in SQL/VQL and query optimization
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and APIs
- Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance
- Experience with performance tuning and caching strategies
- Experience in data virtualization in hybrid/multi-cloud environments
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
