Manage all store activities in Pune, ensuring high accuracy in stock, efficient inbound/outbound logistics, and customer support. This role requires a Commerce Graduate with 5-7 years of experience in warehouse and material management, focusing on optimizing resources and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage stock, incoming material, supplier coordination, and inspection.
  • Ensure proper transaction of material and maintain high stock accuracy.
  • Monitor stock levels and material delivery times.
  • Set and follow up targets for the group and monitor performance.
  • Facilitate quick disposal of supplier rejection and scrap material.
  • Ensure high safety precautions in the stores and yard.
  • Prepare e-way bills and dispatch material against MSJ.
  • Conduct regular stock verification and maintain FIFO for shelf-life items.
  • Implement ALPS/Lean Six Sigma initiatives and drive problem-solving activities.
  • Analyze process deviations and facilitate root cause analysis.
  • Ensure cooperation between buyers, TM's, and suppliers.
  • Manage stocking programs and analyze inventory values to reduce excess stock.
  • Analyze sourcing, delivery, and stores problems weekly and create action plans.
  • Drive project work within the department.
  • Secure frozen production schedule and manage shop work orders.
  • Maintain constant awareness of future shortages.

Requirements

  • Commerce Graduate with 5-7 years of experience in store/warehouse management.
  • Independent and self-motivated with a drive to continuously improve performance.
  • Knowledge of store & warehouse processes.
  • Knowledge of ERP and MM tools.
  • Overall supply chain understanding.
  • Knowledge of material management.
  • Experience with support functions (Sourcing, Quality, Order handling).
  • Good cross-cultural understanding.
  • Good communication skills.

  • Process knowledge in assembly processes and flow thinking (Lean).
  • Ability to align overall targets and KPI’s to department goals.
  • Ability to maintain and develop ESI for own team.
  • Ability to secure feasible and standard communication plan within team.

  • Ability to analyze inventory values and system set up in reducing excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Ability to manage ALPS audits and take corrective actions.
  • Ability to delegate tasks in the Stores organization.
