Saab Danmark is seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager for its Strategic Procurement Department in Sonderborg. This role involves driving strategic sourcing projects, RFx activities, and identifying optimization opportunities within the defense industry. A master's degree and several years of international sourcing experience are required.

Responsibilities

  • Driving strategic sourcing projects in close cooperation with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Preparing and executing sourcing projects and RFx activities in partnership with project and sales teams.
  • Discovering opportunities for added value and optimization, including process improvements, technical enhancements, supplier engagement, and innovation initiatives.
  • Working closely with colleagues both in Denmark and abroad.

Requirements

  • A completed master's degree in a relevant field, such as supply chain, business administration, economics, or a related area.
  • Several years of experience in running sourcing processes, ideally within international organizations.
  • A proactive, results-oriented approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to foster collaboration and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance by the Danish Defence Intelligence Service (residency within NATO/EU for the last 7 years).

Desired Qualifications

  • Other language skills are advantageous but not essential.
