Responsibilities

  • Support the development and application of LLM-based solutions for the test and measurement industry.
  • Analyze industry requirements and contribute to the design of tools and applications that improve engineering productivity.
  • Collect, clean, preprocess, and organize data for model training and evaluation.
  • Participate in machine learning and deep learning model training, tuning, testing, and performance assessment.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving technical challenges related to AI model implementation and deployment.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and user guidance materials.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are delivered with high quality and within established timelines.
  • Continuously learn and apply emerging AI technologies, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Contribute ideas that enhance solutions, processes, and team effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Instrumentation, or a related scientific or engineering discipline.
  • Proficiency in Python programming.
  • Understanding of machine learning and deep learning fundamentals, including common algorithms and model development concepts.
  • Ability to support model training, tuning, validation, and evaluation activities.
  • Basic knowledge of data analysis, data preprocessing, and data quality management.
  • Experience using software development, testing, and version control tools.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), generative AI, or natural language processing concepts.
  • Understanding of the test and measurement industry, including common applications, workflows, or engineering requirements.
  • Exposure to data science, model evaluation frameworks, or AI development tools.
  • Experience with cloud-based development environments or AI-related projects through coursework, research, or personal initiatives.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and enthusiasm for applying emerging technologies to solve real-world engineering challenges.
