Responsibilities

  • Lead design, implementation, and validation of ASIC device drivers and test cases in C/C++.
  • Drive development and evolution of validation frameworks and infrastructure.
  • Define validation strategies and assess test case coverage.
  • Lead in-lab validation and proof-of-concept work.
  • Mentor engineers in validation principles, debug methodologies, and coding best practices.
  • Plan and coordinate validation workstreams.
  • Build partnerships with ASIC architects and design teams.
  • Identify and drive technical innovations including automation, coverage modeling, and framework improvements.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of development experience with C/C++ and Python, with a strong focus on hardware validation and embedded software.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives in complex validation environments.
  • Experience with source code management (Git), IDEs, and collaborative development workflows.
  • Deep understanding of hardware architecture, data paths, and IP interactions.
  • Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux systems, scripting, and lab environments.
  • Strong knowledge of validation principles, coverage strategies, and the ability to translate requirements into executable plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
