Microsoft Advertising is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their Advertising CRM team. This role focuses on building next-generation CRM solutions with AI innovation, Copilot experiences, and Dynamics 365 CRM. You will develop scalable cloud-native applications and services on Azure to empower sales and marketing users globally.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate scalable, secure, and highly available full-stack solutions supporting Microsoft Advertising CRM platforms.
- Build modern web applications, APIs, and cloud-native services using Azure technologies for sales enablement and advertiser lifecycle management.
- Leverage Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Dataverse, and Power Platform to deliver customer engagement, workflow automation, and business process solutions.
- Contribute to the evolution of the CRM ecosystem and transformation from OneCRM to TrueCRM, driving modernization and improved user experiences.
- Develop and integrate AI-powered capabilities, including Copilot experiences, intelligent recommendations, conversational workflows, predictive insights, and automation.
- Partner with Product Managers, Applied Scientists, Data Scientists, and engineers to deliver innovative, customer-centric solutions.
- Build scalable backend services, distributed systems, APIs, and data platforms using Azure cloud services and modern engineering practices.
- Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, testing automation, observability, reliability, security, and performance optimization.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies including Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs, Copilot extensibility, and intelligent automation frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise-scale applications and cloud services.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Dataverse, and Power Platform.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Solid full-stack development skills using C#, .NET, React/TypeScript, REST APIs, and modern web technologies.
- Experience building cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure, including microservices, distributed systems, and data platforms.
- Knowledge of software design patterns, DevOps, CI/CD, security, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Experience building or integrating AI-powered solutions, including Copilot experiences, intelligent automation, or Generative AI capabilities.
- Solid problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

- Starting January 26, 2026, employees who live within a 50- mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. or 25-mile commute of a non-U.S., country-specific location are expected to work from the office at least four days per week.
