Senior Java Technical Lead - RESTful API, Spring Boot

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java/J2EE Developer  with strong expertise in Java, Microservices, Spring Boot, and Cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure). The ideal candidate will play a dual role—hands-on development along with architectural leadership, driving end-to-end solution design, mentoring teams, and engaging with stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-quality enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Solution DesignDefine and drive end-to-end application architecture for complex enterprise systems.Design scalable, resilient, and high-performance microservices-based solutions.Lead technical solutioning discussions with business and stakeholders.Ensure adherence to best practices, design patterns, and architectural standards.Evaluate and recommend technology stacks and frameworks aligned with business needs.Development & Technical LeadershipHands-on development using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.Oversee code quality, performance optimization, and security standards.Conduct design and code reviews to maintain high engineering quality.Resolve complex technical issues and provide architectural guidance to teams.Cloud & DevOpsArchitect and implement solutions on GCP (preferred) or other cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).Work with cloud-native services, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and cost-efficient in cloud environments.Team Leadership & MentoringLead a team of developers and provide technical mentorship and coaching.Drive capability building, knowledge sharing, and upskilling within the team.Support capacity planning and task allocation across sprints.**Stakeholder Management.**Engage directly with clients, product owners, and cross-functional teams.Translate business requirements into technical solutions and architecture. Provide status updates, technical recommendations, and risk mitigation strategies. Agile Delivery, Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).Ensure timely delivery with quality and adherence to sprint commitments.Collaborate with Product Owners to refine backlogs and technical roadmaps.

Skill Requirements

9–11 years of overall experience in software development and architecture.Strong hands-on expertise in:*Java (Core Java, Java 8+)Spring Boot, Spring FrameworkMicroservices Architecture*Solid experience in Cloud Platforms – preferably GCP (or AWS/Azure).Experience with:RESTful APIs, API Gateway, Event-driven architectureDatabase technologies** (SQL/NoSQL)Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelinesStrong understanding of:Design Patterns, System Design, and Distributed Systems****Scalability, Performance Optimization, and SecurityExperience in leading teams and delivering enterprise-level applications.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Experience in working with global and cross-functional teams.High ownership and accountability in project delivery.

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in Java, Spring Boot, or RESTful services are a plus.
