As a Senior Financial Controller at SEB's Parent Bank Accounting & Reporting team in Solna, you will drive high-quality accounting and financial reporting while contributing to the transformation of the finance infrastructure. This hybrid role requires a master's degree, experience with accounting hub solutions, and a background in banking or regulated financial environments.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with development teams to build new accounting hub infrastructure, define business requirements, and shape target state architecture and processes.
  • Improve and future-proof ways of working and key processes, defining the target operating model.
  • Drive the change and development agenda, setting requirements and implementing global initiatives.
  • Take ownership of complex accounting, reporting, and process-related matters, driving issues from analysis to implementation.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders across SEB's divisions and international sites.
  • Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of SEB AB, including financial and regulatory reporting.

Requirements

  • A master’s degree in business administration, Finance, or equivalent.
  • Experience from implementing accounting hub solutions.
  • Several years of experience within accounting and financial reporting in a banking or regulated financial environment.
  • Proven ability to drive change and development initiatives, from setting requirements to implementation.
  • Experience working in cross-functional and international settings.
  • Strong analytical skills, sound judgement, and the confidence to take ownership.
  • Fluency in English (Swedish is an advantage, but not a requirement).
