In this role , you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure and automation processes to support efficient software development and deployment. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth and reliable software delivery. Key Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and maintain the infrastructure and configuration management systems using industry best practices.
• Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for efficient and automated software delivery.
• Collaborate with development teams to automate build, deployment, and testing processes.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and software configurations.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Ensure security best practices are followed throughout the infrastructure and application stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement DevOps-related policies, procedures, and standards.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies that can improve our development and deployment processes.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to system emergencies in a timely manner.
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.

Education:

•    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

To succeed in this role:

• 5+ year of relevant Devops experience.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer, with a focus on designing and implementing cloud-based infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
• Experience with configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
• Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with building and maintaining a kubernetes cluster with kops
• Experience using helm charts for deployments, a strong knowledge of Jenkins or similar CI/CD tool, and a basic understanding of networking.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.

Good to have skills:

• Relevant certifications in DevOps, cloud platforms, or related fields.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Splunk.
• Knowledge of infrastructure provisioning and management tools, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Experience with container orchestration platforms, such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
