Senior Agile Coach needed to lead and champion agile transformation journeys within the transport industry at Volvo Group. This role involves partnering with leaders, fostering empowerment and continuous improvement, and contributing to the global agile community.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with IT and business leaders to lead and champion the agile transformation journey.
  • Foster a culture of empowerment and continuous improvement.
  • Promote coaching and feedback as tools for teams and leaders.
  • Serve as a leader for standards, methods, tools, and success metrics.
  • Provide hands-on support across teams and the organization, supporting a mindset shift.
  • Contribute to the global Volvo Group network of Agile coaches.
  • Design and conduct in-person and virtual training sessions and workshops.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of successfully implementing agile methodologies across diverse work cultures and environments.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to drive change across teams and leadership through effective relationship building.
  • Ability to work at all levels of the organization – in product teams as well as leadership teams.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement.
  • Agile coach with 5 years of hands-on experience as an Agile coach in Agile transformation initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience as a Scrum master and/or Product owner.

Desired Qualifications

  • IT experience and knowledge of software development lifecycle and methodologies are advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Agile certification (Scrum Master or Product Owner) is a plus.
  • Being a certified coach is an additional advantage.
